Jitters

The uh... preresults jitters?

I used to just expect the AAAA to plop down on my lap. I thought it was that easy. When I found out that actually, it wasn't that easy, I started to panic. But as usual, I didn't do anything about it. When that happens...one can only hope for AAAB (cos AABB can get laaaaaa. i think :P touch wood). Not much difference, you think. Ah. That's where you're slightly wrong.

You might think me weird. You're probably wondering why I put so much importance in getting straight As. All my life, without a considerable amount of effort, I used to just ace the exams. A levels, even though so much easier than SPM, was a leetle bit difficult. Bio Sucks. And also, I think I must learn to have better willpower :P

There are so many more things in life than getting good results. Yes, I totally agree with that.

However, in this stage of my miserable life, I have only one goal, and one goal only. And that is to do well in the exams. WHY??!??!?!! Well because I have nothing else to worry about. I have no family to feed, I haven't adopted a hungry African child to give large amounts of money to. I do not pay for bills (OK, I do, but that's out of my allowance!!) I do not work, I have no money of my own, everything I have now, is thanks to my parents. So they pay my fees through their noses and I thought the best thing I could give them in return is the feeling that their money didn't go to waste.

becoz i used to think like that. parents pay for everything. me need to ace exams.

but in 2 yrs, everything has changed. parents no money. me stopped studying and now working to support myself and help the family abit.

and when my friends all lament about not acing exams or lazy to go to classes etc, i knock their bloody heads and tell them it ain't the end of the world. don't waste your parents' money by playing around in uni. grow up!
