Of Rotten Papaya Milk and Decomposing Flesh

I seem to be the only one among my friends blessed (cursed??!) with a nose that can sniff out the worldly smells.

Say when you’re eating lemon chicken, do you suddenly gag because the tastes and smells of the wet wood and rotten chicken insides from the never-washed chopping board just overwhelm you? No? Well not everyone is so lucky.

Do you, when you walk into a small room, suddenly stop dead in your tracks because suddenly the stench of bloody rusty iron, dead decomposing flesh and rotten fruit waft by? No? You should be happy.

I was walking up the stairs behind this girl. The stench of her blood was so overpowering that it made me lag behind a bit more so that I wasn’t nose-to-bum with her. Heck so that I wasn't head-to-foot with her dammit. *gAg*

WHY do I smell these things? I can only imagine the worse smells yet to come when I go to medical school. Yippie. I can’t wait. To be trained to sniff out certain things. I can't wait.
